ASSETS 2024: Tradition Meets Innovation in Montreal

The Canadian Chapter of the International Society of Appraisers (ISA) is thrilled that the annual ISA conference, ASSETS, will be hosted in the vibrant city of Montreal, Quebec this year. This marks a significant occasion, as it is the first time in over a decade that the ISA will hold its flagship conference in Canada, and a first-ever for Montreal.

Montreal’s distinct character as a city that harmonizes its historical roots with a progressive outlook mirrors the essence of our conference theme, “Tradition Meets Innovation.” As President of the Canadian Chapter and Co-Chair of the Conference Committee, I am excited to showcase Montreal’s dynamic cultural landscape to our esteemed ISA members and the global appraisal community. The ASSETS 2024 conference is poised to be a landmark event, featuring a curated program of speakers, specialty tours and an advanced methodology course that align with our theme. Our goal is to foster a platform where member professionals can explore the evolving nature of the appraisal industry, bridging historical practices with forward-thinking technology and perspectives.

My Co-Chair Julie Riches, ISA AM and I along with the volunteers of the Conference Committee have worked diligently to ensure that ASSETS 2024 will offer unparalleled professional development and valuable learning experiences for appraisers at all stages of their careers. Moreover, ASSETS 2024 will leverage Montreal’s status as a cultural hub to offer attendees a range of activities and experiences, enhancing the overall conference experience. From exclusive tours to social events, participants will have the chance to enjoy the best of what Montreal has to offer, making ASSETS 2024 not just a conference, but a memorable event.

We invite you to join us in Montreal for ASSETS 2024 from April 24 – 27th, where tradition and innovation converge in one of Canada’s most iconic cities!
