Meggan studied at Trent University where she earned her joint Honours B.A. in History and Classical Studies. Following her degree, she attended Sir Sandford Fleming College for Museum Management and Curatorship. In 2019, Meggan became a qualified appraiser with the International Society of Appraisers and is USPAP certified.

Meggan is currently the Director of Heritage Services for the Canadian Golf Hall of Fame and Museum and has been with the Museum for over 19 years serving as the Curator for 13 of those years. Her past experience also includes an internship at the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto.

Meggan appraises all types of sports memorabilia for private collectors and clients as well as for the Museum.
