Kathryn Minard, ISA CAPP, graduated from York University with a Specialized Honours Degree in Fine Art History in 1975. She is a Certified Appraiser specializing in fine art, a member of the Board of Directors and a former Canadian instructor in Appraisal Studies with the International Society of Appraisers. Ms. Minard has served on the Art Advisory Committee of the McMichael Canadian Art Collection and the Board of Trustees of the Textile Museum of Canada.
She is the owner and president of Contemporary Fine Art Services Inc., doing business as Art Advisory.com, providing independent appraisal, research, advisory and collection management services to private, institutional and corporate collectors since 1981.
Ms. Minard’s credentials comply with the requalification requirements of the International Society of Appraisers, the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice, and the Personal Property Appraiser Qualifications Criteria established by the Appraiser Qualifications Board of The Appraisal Foundation.
