An accomplished Senior Museum Leader, Helen holds over 20 years of museological expertise in curation, collection management, collection acquisitions, and exhibition development and production. Her areas of expertise lie with fine art, decorative arts and contemporary fine craft.

Helen works with museums, art galleries, collectors and corporations providing professional assistance with Canadian Cultural Property Export Review Board and Charitable donation appraisals, estate appraisals, collections management, and curation.

She hold Masters degrees in Fine & Decorative Arts (Sotheby’s Institute, London) and Art History, Islamic Art (University of Victoria, British Columbia). She currently serves as Director, Exhibitions for the Canadian Museum for Human Rights, Winnipeg, Manitoba (Canada), one of Canada’s national museums. Before joining the CMHR in September 2014, Helen was Chief Curator at the Winnipeg Art Gallery.
